The Astral Plane is a One-Way Bridge enabling users to send XAC securely cross-chain, from the SONGBIRD Canary Network to the FLARE Network (Mainnet).

STEP 1. Connect Wallet

Open the MENU in the top right corner and connect your Web3 wallet of choice. (Make sure you have both the Flare and Songbird Networks added.)
STEP 2. Specify Amount

Specify the amount of XAC on Songbird that you wish to burn. The system will display an equivalent ratio of the total supply of XAC on Flare to be received (10:1). Type 'all' if you wish to burn your entire balance.
STEP 3. Burn XAC on SONGBIRD

Click the Burn XAC button and sign the transaction to send the specified amount of XAC on Songbird to the Burn Address and submit the Tx hash as proof. (For instructions to manually burn XAC, see below.)
STEP 4. Mint F-XAC on FLARE

Click the Mint FXAC button to submit the signed Tx Hash to the Flare bridge contract. If the Tx Hash is valid, the specified quantity of F-XAC on Flare will be minted and sent to you!

Flare Astral Credits (FXAC) is minted when burning XAC on Songbird via The Astral Plane. This is the total amount of FXAC tokens that are circulating in the market currently.

What is the total supply of XAC on Flare?

There is a hard-cap of 100 MILLION F-XAC tokens on Flare. Though this value is theoretical only as there is a non-zero amount of tokens which have been burned or lost. Since F-XAC is newly minted on completion of the bridging process, the total supply for F-XAC on-chain will reflect the amount of tokens minted at that time.

Why do I receive less tokens when bridging to Flare?

Whilst there are 1 BILLION XAC tokens on Songbird, there is a hard-cap of just 100 MILLION F-XAC tokens on Flare (a ratio of 10:1) - As voted by the Astral Credits Community. When burning tokens on Songbird, you can expect to receive an equivalent ratio of the total supply of tokens on Flare.

Why a bridge instead of a snapshot?

Since we aim to continue supporting XAC on both networks. Burn-to-Mint was chosen as the bridging method of choice as it ensures relative scarcity for XAC tokens on Songbird, whilst simultaneously maintaining a tight circulating supply for XAC on Flare.

Manual Burn Instructions ℹ️

Follow the below steps to manually burn XAC on Songbird

Using your web3 wallet of choice - Send XAC tokens direct to the burn address 0xaAaAaAaaAaAa...aaAa or the Songbird Domain burnxac.sgb
Using the Songbird Explorer - Find your transaction and copy the Tx Hash.
On the Astral Plane, open the MENU and connect your Web3 wallet.
Click Submit Manually and paste your Hash into the Tx Hash field.
Click Mint F-XAC to validate the Tx Hash and mint your F-XAC tokens!
